Mount St Helens - Sunset on the Hummocks

Service Description

In partnership with Mount St Helens Institute. August 10 3:00pm start time Join me and MSHI Guides on a photography hike amongst the massive hummocks deposited by the 1980 eruption. You will explore this marvelous eco system, teaming with life, before leaving the trees to join the Boundary Trail. You will ascend to the groups' comfort up Johnston Ridge where you will train your cameras on the amazing vista of the Pumice Plain as sunset casts it's glow on the volcano. This trip begins in the afternoon to catch the stunning sunset, and you will hike out in the dark. Sunset will occur at 7:29 PM.
